Jerry's Wake

Jerry Hayes' hilarious sense of humor, expansive spirit, and encyclopedic mind were a joy to all who knew him. We were his friend for nearly a lifetime, and hundreds, perhaps thousands, of other Missourians knew him well from his long career in media sales and other venues. In keeping with his wishes, his esteemed former wife Paulett and beloved daughter Lynnette made sure that a good and proper wake was held in his honor. It happened Thursday night, September 17, at the Daily Pub in Springfield, Missouri. The following are photos of some of the people who came to show their respects and, also in keeping with his wishes, to raise the glass and have a good time.
