This marvelous, spikey, exquisitely pale-blue plant is Sea Holly (Eryngium planum), a long-lived perennial thistle that grows to 30 inches high with a nice, mounded habit that can send out offshoot clumps of flowers. A sunlover, it tolerates drought. It's also a superb pollinator and can attract more different species of wasps and bees at one time than any plant we've ever seen.
